Your privacy, kept simple.

What information the studio collects, why, and what John does (and never does) with it.

Last updated November 4, 2026

the short version…

  • We only collect what’s needed to send your order and answer your messages.
  • Your details are never sold or shared for advertising.
  • Payments are handled by [Stripe / PayPal]; John never sees your full card number.
  • You can ask to see or delete your information at any time.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, email, shipping address and phone number (if you give one). When you send a message or commission request: your name, email and anything you choose to share, like photos. If you join the email list: your email address.

How it’s used

To make and ship your order, to reply to your messages, and, if you signed up, to send the occasional email about new work. That’s it.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by [Stripe / PayPal / Square]. Your card details go straight to them and are never stored on this site.

Cookies & analytics

The site uses a few cookies to keep your cart working. [It also uses privacy-friendly analytics (e.g. …) to see which pages are visited, without tracking you across other sites.]

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to run the shop: the payment processor, the shipping carrier, [the email newsletter service] and the website host. None of them may use your information for anything else.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time with the link at the bottom of each one. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, just email the studio.
